Payroll HQ is a managed payroll service for Australian businesses that offers tailored payroll solutions across a variety of industries. Payroll HQ assess each client separately on what payroll solution is best suited to the clients needs. With over 25 clients with 3000 employees across multiple industries, Payroll HQ’s priority is to save time and create efficiencies across all aspects of the pay run. We asked them a few questions about how KeyPay has improved their processes and strengthened client relationships:
How is your team currently using KeyPay?
You could say KeyPay is 3 systems in 1: rota management, time and attendance, and payroll engine. There are companies that have 3 pieces of software that might do it, but KeyPay is all in one.
Currently we meet with customers to better their processes - we find out what’s going on and tick boxes to understand what they need to implement, and train them. We look at our customers’ specific needs and choose from KeyPay’s extensive list of features.
What is the biggest advantage of KeyPay?
The award interpreter is a huge plus and having that integrated into the product is a big advantage. In Australia we’ve got something like 123 modern awards and over 1000 enterprise agreements, and companies have their own policies. KeyPay automates this for us. The other part is the ease of access; with KeyPay you can access client files anywhere whereas with a lot of payroll systems you need to be at your computer. KeyPay gives you the freedom to move around.
Can you give us an example of a happy client?
I have a construction payroll client that used to do their pay run manually; you could honestly say they would be solidly spending days on their pay run. KeyPay builds all the rules and automates it for us to produce accurate turnaround data in a matter of hours, rather than days.
Has KeyPay had an impact on your business success?
Definitely. KeyPay reduces our workload, improves payroll processes, positively impacts our bottom line, and makes it easier for my staff to process the pay run. We had one client who loved the KeyPay demo and asked if we could set them up in 2 weeks for 180 employees with on-site kiosks and the whole works. In 2 weeks they were paid. That’s KeyPay.
How would you describe KeyPay?
KeyPay represents a wonderful product and that product is represented by a wonderful team. There are tasks that payroll managers have been doing manually for 100 years that can be automated in KeyPay. For any companies out there running any manual processes, do yourself a favour and take a look at KeyPay.
